AN award-winning actor will be performing in a play that he starred in on the same stage 27 years ago.
Colin Magenty, from Leigh, is in the cast for St Joseph's Players' production of comedy See How They Run! by Philip King.
The curtain will be raised at St Joseph's Hall on Chapel Street from Tuesday, April 9 to Saturday, April 13 with the play starting at 7.30pm every night.
Back in 1992, Colin wore army battledress but he has moved up in the pecking order in the latest production and this time he will be donning a bishop's cassock.

The 73-year-old swaps his role of Lance Corporal Clive Winton for the bewildered Bishop of Lax.
Colin has racked up 109 play and musical performances in his 58-year career in regional theatre.
He has received awards from the from the National Operatic and Dramatic Association and the Association of Community Theatres.
Speaking about the upcoming play, Colin said: “It really is a laugh a minute production.
"We’re having so much fun in rehearsals.
"I’m sure everyone who sees it will enjoy it just as much as us.”
See How They Run! is set in 1945 in a vicarage next to a prisoner of war internment camp.
It has all the hallmarks of a British farcical comedy with quickfire quips, slapstick humour, mistaken identity and many more classic elements.
The play, which borrowed its title from a line of nursery rhyme Three Blind Mice, is being directed by Donna Wood.
Tickets are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for 16 years and under.
