A one minute's silence is to be held today in response to the New Zealand terror attack.
It will take place at noon, outside the Town Hall in Blackburn, today (Monday, March 18) to pay respect to those who lost their lives, those injured and the many others affected by the deadly shootings.
Coun Mohammed Khan, leader of Blackburn with Darwen Council, is inviting people to join him in the mark of respect.
He will give a short address before the minute's silence is observed, by the steps on King William Street. People across the borough can also join in the minute's silence.
This can be observed wherever you are in the borough.
