Roadworks
A BUSY stretch of road is to undergo extensive improvements.
Roadworks will take place at several areas along Thatch Leach Lane, Whitefield, between Bury New Road and Balmoral Avenue next month.
The work will see 200 metres square of carriageway patching to the road's micro-asphalt surface to repair potholes and prevent further deterioration.
It is expected that the improvements will be carried out at the end of March by a Bury Council contractor.
