BOLTON Wanderers fans flocked to a Middlebrook store to meet two of their heroes.

First team duo David Wheater and Sammy Ameobi were the guests of honour at Thomas Cook’s new store on Monday afternoon. The Whites’ skipper and number ten were in attendance to meet and greet supporters, sign autographs and memorabilia and pose for selfies.

The visit came in line with the recent opening of the store based in Middlebrook Retail Park in October of last year – the first Thomas Cook Discovery Store in the region.

It also celebrated Bolton

Wanderers’ partnership with Thomas Cook Sport, with the company acting as the club’s

Official Travel Partners.

Speaking following the visit, Thomas Cook’s partnership and marketing manager Kylie-Jayne Paramanis said: “It was a pleasure to host David and Sammy at our Thomas Cook Discovery store on Middlebrook Retail Park

“Fans were queuing out the door to meet their heroes and it was great to be able to welcome the players and the incredible supporters to one of the newer Thomas Cook locations.”

“Thank you to our partner, Bolton Wanderers Football Club, for helping to make it happen .”
