Santa on collection duty
SANTA’s Christmas sleigh run organised by Bolton Lever Rotary and Bolton Lions clubs raised more than £3,000.
Members of both groups took part in the charity event which takes annually during the festive period.
Between December 10 and 22 they completed four sleigh runs round the streets of Bolton, four store collections and two pub collections.
The money - £3,024.16 – will be split equally between the two clubs. Bolton.
Recipients of cash from the Rotary club will include the MENCAP shop in Chorley Old Road, the Families and Babies (FAB) group in Tonge Moor Road, Bolton, and the Farnworth Foodbank.
