Hundreds of cannabis plants with an estimated street value of £150,000 have been seized by police.
The 'sophisticated' cannabis farm was discovered by officers at a house in Fecitt Brow, Blackburn, on Wednesday.
The electricity set-up to power the farm was dangerous, police said, and could easily have started a fire.
A spokesperson for the police said: "Over 200 plants were seized by our neighbourhood police team from a house in Blackburn.
"Along with the plants, more than 60 lamps and transformers, which were in an extremely unsafe condition and posed a serious fire risk to the neighbouring properties were also seized."
Sgt Jonathan Cisco said: "Officers are pursuing lines of enquiry at this time in order to apprehend those responsible."
