BLACKBURN’S boutique music festival Confessional will be back bigger and better than ever in 2019.
For the first time, the event, held in Holy Trinity Church, will spread over two days starting on Friday, September 6 and also running on Saturday, September 7.
The line-up will be revealed in the coming weeks but organiser Pete Eastwood promises that it will be something special.
“Every year the event has just got better and better,” he said. “I have been finally persuaded to make it a two-day event because people said that so much effort goes into decorating the venue and the lighting, it’s a same to take it all down after a single day.”
Confessional 2019 will have a rainforest theme, Pete confirmed.
The festival has made a name for itself for featuring up and coming bands on the verge of breaking through. Last year’s event featured Trampolene and Pins with a guest DJ spot from Dexy’s Kevin Rowland.
Early bird tickets are now on sale priced £25 for both days or £20 for Saturday and £10 on Friday from www.fatsoma.com
