Tree le mans crescent 1985
TWO trees were planted in Le Mans Crescent in Bolton town centre in August, 1985 to mark the 40th anniversary of an atom bomb being dropped on Hiroshima in Japan near the end of the Second World War. Cllr Guy Harkin and MP David Young are pictured doing the spadework as peace campaigners show their support with banners.
