BLACKBURN Rovers boss Tony Mowbray led the festive cheer at the annual Disabled Supporters' Christmas Party.

Tony, the first team squad, the under 23s and the ladies team met hundreds of fans in the premier suit at Ewood Park.

Fans got the chance to chat with players about how the season is going, sign autographs and take selfies.

There was also a raffle, a football and a Christmas quiz.

Bradley Dack, Darragh Lenihan and Paul Downing, Jack Rodwell and Elliott Bennett were among the players to meet and greet with the fans.

Attacking midfielder Bradley Dack, said the night was a great success.

He said: "It's been great to see the smiles on so many people's faces.

"It has been going for a long time and it has become a great part of the club.

"It's really good for the footballers and the fans to connect."

A supper was also put on by the club and fans got the chance to play video games with the stars.

Tony, who has managed the club since February 2017, said: "I think its important for the players get among the community.

"If we can spread some cheer at this time of year, when it may not be a great time for everyone, then we want to do that.

"It's been a great night."

Kerry Neilson, who came with her family Jamie, Gracie and Lisa, said: "I've supported Blackburn for more than 30 years and it's become a really fantastic club in this aspect.

"Tony and the players are incredibly nice people who give up their time regularly to do things like this.

"The club is great, the staff are amazing."

Rovers are currently 11th in the Championship table on 30 points, having most recently drawn with Middlesbrough 1-1 on Saturday.

Christine Rennard, one of the party's organisers, said: "The idea for the party is people can be themselves.

"It's a safe environment for fans to meet the players.

"The fans can talk about their favourite goals, how the team is doing and anything they like.

"The staff are here voluntarily and put their own time into it, they have all been great."
