In reply to article in Telegraph on Friday December 7, I am in full agreement.

A once clean and proud town has now become a rubbish tip with constant takeaway rubbish drink cans on streets and main roads.

The main perpetrators are young men sat in cars skulking in the dark then throwing it out of the windows, along with graffiti being daubed on private property.

It's costing rate payers thousands. It's high time wardens numbers are increased to catch these people. Their wages would be recouped in no time with the fines they would collect, and decent people would then live in a cleaner area again.

Until then the town will remain what it is a dump.
