IN true festive style Bolton Choral Union will be holding their Christmas concert at Bolton Parish Church on Sunday ( 16th December)

The programme will feature some traditional Christmas carols and seasonal music along with a surprise new piece composed by Musical Director, Michael Greenhalgh "Blessed Son of God"

Welsh musician Elin Rees is a freelance accompanist, piano and organ soloist, and organist at Bury Parish Church and will be performing on the night.

As an organist she is in regular demand as an accompanist to choirs across the North West, including Congleton, Bury and Salford Choral Societies. With the Bury Parish Church Choir she has played for services at Canterbury, Carlisle and Gloucester Cathedrals, as well as accompanying other visiting choirs at Durham Cathedral and York Minster.

The society will also be joined by the brilliant Intrada Brass Ensemble, whose debut CD “Identity Crisis” has received much acclaim.

Doors open at 7pm and the concert starts at 7.30pm
