TWO people had to be rescued from a lift at Ewood Park last night.
Fire crews were called to Blackburn's football ground at around 10.30pm yesterday.
A man and a woman, who had been enjoying a Christmas party at the Blues Bar, were stuck in a lift for 20 minutes.
Crews said the lift had malfunctioned and no one was reported injured.
A fire service spokesman said: "Two people had to be rescued from a lift at the Blues Bar in Ewood Park.
"The lift just stopped and the doors would not open as it had malfunctioned.
"The man and woman were there for 20 minutes and had been on a Christmas party.
"Crew manager Chris Jowett did a fantastic job leading."
