TICKETS are selling fast for the Eagley Band and Smithills Community Christmas Concert.

With three weeks still to go, the show, in aid of Bolton Hospice, is set to be a sell out.

The concert will be held in the historic Victoria Hall.

Conductor Chris Wormald said: "Naturally we are beyond delighted at the demand for tickets for our Gala Christmas Concert in the Victoria Hall once again this year.

"It will certainly be a lot of fun as always and seemingly the place to be on December 22nd, but the last time Victoria Hall stewards had to turn away people on the night of one of our concerts, people wrote into the Bolton News to complain that they were turned away and couldn’t get in.

"We were genuinely so sorry but there is nothing the stewards can do when every ticket has been sold. It seems this year is going to be packed again and most places have sold out of their tickets. I urge everyone to go to Booth’s Music, Jeff James Hairdressing and on line to the Victoria Hall as we know there are still tickets available there."
