TWO cars were damaged in Little Lever last night following a collision, according to eyewitnesses.
Police were seen shortly before 9pm in Stopes Road which was closed because of the incident.
The collision involving a Mercedes and a Ford Focus reportedly happened next to the Queen Anne pub.
Shaun Welsby who lives nearby in Nandywell saw police at the scene after returning home from a meal.
He was told that the incident happened 15 minutes before he arrived.
He said that cars are often seen "flying up and down" Booth Road which leads to the location where the incident took place.
The damaged cars were removed and the road was reopened later that night.
No one is known to have been injured.
