BLACKBURN Cathedral will tonight (THURS) host a performance of the play 'Brothers In Arms, a play telling an inspiring story of the First World War
The production, written by David Banbury, a clergyman from Leyland and a former soldier himself, tells of the courage of two soldiers, Noel and Christopher Chavasse.
The twin brothers, the sons of the then Bishop of Liverpool, were both highly decorated for bvavery during service in the trenches of World War One.
The performance starts at at 7.30pm. Admission is £2 per person with proceeds going to the Royal British Legion. Tickets are available from the
Cathedral Shop.
