A MAN has appeared before Blackburn magistrates after an incident in Burnley Job Centre on Tuesday when a security guard suffered a serious knife wound to his hand.
Andrew Paul Harwood, 46, of Abinger Street, Burnley was sent in custody to Burnley Crown Court charged with wounding causing grievous bodily harm and possession of a bladed instrument in the Job Centre.
He will appear before the crown court on November 15.
