A WOMAN has been charged with arson with intent to endanger life following a fire at the Premier Inn in Burnley.
Police and firefighters were called to the hotel in Queen Victoria Road yesterday morning following reports a room had been set on fire.
A 60-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and quizzed by detectives.
Police have since confirmed Linda Ingham, of Barkerhouse Road, Nelson, was charged with two counts of arson with intent to endanger life this morning.
She was due to appear before Blackburn magistrates today.
