POLICE are making the public aware of a new way of reporting crimes.

If people are short on time they are urging people to let them know online.

The website www.lancashire.police.uk/reportonline takes you through to an online form which is staffed by a team of police control room officers 24 hours a day and means you can report at any time of the day or night.

It takes 10 minutes or less to complete and is mobile friendly and allows your to upload any images or CCTV that you feel is relevant to the incident.

The form is for non-emergencies only and ring 999 if urgent.
