INSTEAD of spending the autumn 'listening to more political speeches' one Bolton MP will spend next week touring his constituency.

David Crausby MP for Bolton North East will hold six meetings to learn about the issues that matter to his constituency.

He said: "I don’t want to spend my autumn just listening to more political speeches at the party conferences.

"I want to talk with Boltonians about the issues affecting their lives, the community and our country.

"I look forward to meeting lots of local residents and taking action on the issues that matter most to them.”

On Monday he will be at Tonge Moor UCAN Centre, Tonge Moor Road, 10-11am then at Elderdale Community Centre, Yewdale Gardens, Breightmet, 11.30am-12.30pm.

On Tuesday he will be at Harwood Library, 10-11am then at St Paul's Church, Halliwell Road, 11.30am-12.30pm.

Residents in Bromley Cross can see him at the library in The Crescent from 3-4pm and on Friday he will be at the One Stop Shop in Bolton Town Hall from 3.30-5.30pm.
