BOLTON North East MP Sir David Crausby is inviting local residents to a series of advice surgeries across his constituency this month.

His tour will take him to Tonge Moor, Breightmet, Harwood, Halliwell, Bromley Cross and Bolton town centre and will be held in community centres, libraries, a local church and the town hall.

The surgeries, which Sir David is calling his Constituency Conversation, start on September 17.

Sir David said: “I don’t want to spend my autumn just listening to more political speeches at the party conferences.

"I want to talk with Boltonians about the issues affecting their lives, the community and our country.

"I look forward to meeting lots of local residents and taking action on the issues that matter most to them.”

On September 17 he will be at Tonge Moor Ucan centre from 10am to 11am and then at Elderdale community centre, Yewdale Gardens, Breightmet from 11.30am to 12.30pm.

The following day is Harwood Library from 10am to 11am, followed by a surgery at St Paul’s Church on Halliwell Road from 11.30am to12.30pm.

On September 20 Sir David will be at Bromley Cross Library from 3pm to 4pm and the final surgery of the week will be at the One Stop Shop at Bolton town hall on September 21 from 3.30pm to 5.30pm.

Sir David is willing to discuss any problems he may be able to help with, concerns about national issues or to talk with anyone who just wants a chat. No appointment is needed.
