TWO sheds were destroyed in a fire this afternoon.
Firefighters were called to a house in Blindsill Road, Farnworth at 2pm when a fire broke out inside a shed in the garden which spread to an adjoining shed.
Both were destroyed in the blaze.
The cause of the fire is being treated as accidental, with the cause being investigated.
Crews will be carrying out safe and well visits in the area following the fire.
Firefighters will be knocking on doors and doing a leaflet drop to give fire safety advice.
They will also carry out safe and well visits, which can include the fitting of free smoke alarms.
