Investigation launched after 'deliberate' car fire
AN investigation is underway into the cause of a car fire in Accrington.
Firefighters from Hyndburn Station were called to a vehicle fire at the rear of Wordsworth Road at 5.14am this morning.
A Lancashire Fire Service spokesman said: "The vehicle was well alight when firefighters arrived and they extinguished the fire using a hose reel.
"The cause of the fire is thought to be deliberate and a joint investigation with the police is now underway."
Anyone with information can call police on 101.
