FOLLOWING its success at the Greater Manchester Drama Federation Awards, A Different Way Home will return to the Whitefield Garrick for one night only.
John O'Connell won Best Actor for his portrayal of Leslie in Jimmy Chin's play and Andrew Close received a nomination for the Best Director Award.
The play has toured other theatres, including Bolton Little Theatre to critical acclaim and will return to Whitefield Garrick on August 4 in tnewly refurbished auditorium with improved seating at the theatre in Bank Street, Whitefield.
A Different Way is a moving play consisting of two monologue by Maureen and Leslie, from a middle-aged estranged brother and sister in a closely-knit North of England town. In this production John plays both parts.
