A MAN is sought by police officers after a railway staff member was racially abused and assaulted.
British Transport Police want to speak to this man after Blackburn Railway Station staff member had a drink thrown over them at the ticket barriers at around 8.25pm on Thursday, July 19.
A British Transport Police spokesman said the rail staff was assaulted and racially abused after he tried to resolve a dispute between a man and other rail staff.
The spokesman said: "Officers would like to speak to the man in the CCTV image because they believe he may have information which could help the investigation.
"If he looks familiar or you have any information which could help the investigation, please call 0800 405040 or text 61016, quoting 400 of 30 July."
