SIX Town Housing's annual Summer Roadshow will be returning to estates across the borough this summer to provide free family entertainment and advice to residents.

The housing organisation are holding the event to help tenants and residents access information on a range of services available to them, all while keeping their children entertained.

Visitors this year will be able to access energy saving advice, employment support, digital training to get online and guidance on how to avoid condensation and damp in homes.

Young people will be able to enjoy free face painting, a bouncy castle, giant games and competitions. A popular reptile handling stall will also return, courtesy of Ranger Rob’s Animal Experience.

John Merrick, director of neighbourhoods at Six Town Housing, said: “Our events provide a way for tenants to find out about and access a range of services that may have an impact on their lives, while keeping them and their families entertained.”

The Summer Roadshow takes place every Tuesday for five weeks. It will visit Hoyles Park, Bury on July 24; Powell Street, Bury on July 31; Red Bank Field, Radcliffe, on August 7; Victoria Park, Whitefield, on August 14; and Vennwood Road, Prestwich, on August 21.
