ARMED forces and veteran groups will have their say on the services that are available to them and their families in Bury.
A market-style networking event has been organised by Bury Council to give groups the opportunity to share ideas, connect, and find out more about other groups.
The drop-in event on Wednesday, June 27, with feature Re-build Bury, Groundwork, the Royal British Legion, and Age UK Bury among other organisations.
Representatives and members of the Borough of Bury Veterans Association and Bury Veterans Breakfast Club will be in attendance.
Various workshops will take place, and stalls will be set up in The Elizabethan Suite at Bury Town Hall.
Bury Police will have a recruitment stand at the event. Insp Jim Jones and PCSO Claire Diack of Bury Police will be on hand to speak with visitors about their work within the veteran and armed forces communities.
Insp Jones said: "Greater Manchester Police have made supporting our armed forces a priority and are delighted to have been invited to this event by Bury Council.
"Working together, Bury will soon be a benchmark town nationally for this important work."
Bury's Voluntary, Community and Faith Alliance, online community engagement site for Bury Council, One Community, and Bury Carers Centre will also be represented.
