EWOOD Park was filled with happy memories as Rovers booked their place in the Championship after getting promoted.

But Rovers fans have been talking about the ground featuring in a commercial with one of the Golden Boys from Brazil as Gabriel Jesus starred in an advert for Vivo.

The Manchester City star could be one of the stars of the World Cup and some eagle-eyed Rovers fans recognised parts of the stadium in the advert.

The video centres around the career of the 21-year-old striker from growing up as a junior to getting telephone calls to progress through the ranks to eventually play for the Samba Boys.

Rovers fans will also recognise the railings as he gets off a team bus which face the Jack Walker Stand.

Also the former Palmeiras forward gets ready in what looks like Rovers dressing room without the traditional club badges.

A Blackburn Rovers spokesman confirmed that the visit took place in

Meanwhile, Rovers fans have reacted on social media with @RoversTweet saying: 'Remember when the Brazil coach was spotted outside Ewood a couple of months ago, we believed this is advert they were shooting at Rovers'

@RoversTweet added: 'Take a look at this shot, they've not photoshopped the Umbro badges away from from the left hand side (of the pitch)!'

John Murray of the Blackburn Rovers Supporters Group said: "1t is interesting to see ground featured when we are away from the limelight on Sky but hopefully next season in the Championship we will be able to see Sky at the ground."

Mr Murray added that after the appearance 'he would be looking forward to signing four Brazilian players," he said in a tongue and cheek comment.

It is not the first time that Rovers has been the home to top stars in adverts as England goalkeeper Joe Hart appeared in the commercial 'Nike Football Presents: Pro Genius Self-Talk ft. Joe Hart'

In the video, there is footage of the backstreets near Ewood and then sporting his England gear, the shot-stopper arrives in a coach driving past the railings.

He also walked into the dressing rooms to get ready for training.
