THE FINAL part of the Blackburn Festival of Speech, Music and Dance took place this weekend.
The festival, which was founded in 1945, celebrated music on its final weekend of the year.
The first instalment of the event took place at the end of April and the festival has been ongoing since.
Among the trophies up for grabs was the Lancashire Telegraph Trophy, which was given to organisers of the festival back in the 1940s.
