NELSON enjoyed a superb victory over East Lancashire last time out and will look to build on that when they travel to Colne tomorrow in the Lancashire League.

The victory lifted Nelson up to 15th while East Lancs remain second bottom. They will hope to bounce back tomorrow when basement boys Rishton are the visitors to Alexandra Meadows.

Rishton are the only side yet to register a league victory this season and are already 19 points adrift at the foot of the table.

At the other end, Walsden will bid to maintain their perfect start to the campaign when they travel to Bacup.

The league new boys have won all seven fixtures so far and visit a side seeking a third win of the season.

Ramsbottom, who lost their 100 per cent start when losing to the leaders last time out, will bid to bounce back at home to Enfield while Darwen, now in second, will fancy their chances of picking up a seventh win in eight league games away at mid table Great Harwood.

Burnley have also started the season strongly and entertain Church at Turf Moor while Lowerhouse visit defending champions Clitheroe in the day’s standout fixture.

Elsewhere, Accrington host Rochdale while Haslingden visit Todmorden. Rawtenstall travel to Crompton while Middleton face Littleborough and Norden play Milnrow.
