Police are hunting a man who grabbed the bums of a number of women jogging around New Cross.

One woman who was attacked was jogging along Musgrove Road at around 8.30pm on May 6 when she noticed a man running around 10 metres behind her.

She said he had a mobile phone to his ear as if he were talking to someone and continued to follow her.

When she got to Musgrove Road she felt the man grab her bum and attempt to pull her back before he fled towards Pepys Road.

Police have released CCTV footage of a man they would like to speak to in connection to the attack.

That sexual assault followed a number of other attacks on other lone female joggers in Bridgehouse Meadows in December and April.

Each incident described the attack as a black man, aged in his early to mid 20s, of slim build and around 6ft tall.

This has led police to believe that the attacks were all committed by this one serial groper.

The investigation is being led by Detective Constable Rachel Blackwell from the Met's Child Abuse and Sexual Offences Command.
