AN investigation has been launched into a 'suspicious' shed fire in Blackburn last night.
Two crews from Blackburn Fire Station and another from Hyndburn attended the incident on Longton Close after midnight.
A Lancashire Fire Service spokeswoman said: "We got quite a number of calls about the incident - eight duplicate ones.
"When the first pump got there, they asked for another pump from Blackburn to come to tackle the fire.
"The shed was well alight where there was a dangers of a spread to a nearby bungalow.
"They were at the scene for 90 minutes but we had a message to say the fire was out after 30 minutes.
"They believe the cause of the fire was suspicious and they asked for the police to come out to help with the investigation.
"There was no mention of damage to the property and no-one was hurt during the incident."
