Two partners in crime who live in the same house have been banned from being together outside in a bid to stop them offending.
James Disley, 39, and Simon King, 37, who pinched a generator from a garage, had both offended on bail in the past and had both breached court orders, Burnley magistrates heard.
The pair, of Harold Avenue, Burnley, admitted burglary. Disley also admitted stealing tap shoes.
They were bailed until February 19, for pre-sentence reports and were ordered not to associate with each other outside their house and to observe a 6pm to 8am curfew.
David Leach, defending, said both had relatively bad records.
Disley had previously been involved in heroin, but had managed to bring his addiction under control with medication.
He had also got involved with the Tower Project.
Mr Leach said King had no issue with drugs and was not as heavily convicted as his co-defendant.
