TWO Waterfoot councillors are holding a meeting tonight to discuss how to regenerate the town.
Couns Trevor Unsworth and Ruth Alcroft are inviting traders, residents, fellow councillors and anyone interested in seeing improvements for Waterfoot, to come to the meeting at the Social Club in Ashworth Street, at 7.30pm.
Coun Unsworth said: "In some ways Waterfoot is a bit of a forgotten town.
"It's not a bad little place at all, but there are some things it needs, and Coun Alcroft and I want to hear from people who would like to help regenerate the town.
"We would really like to get something positive for Waterfoot, so would urge everyone to come along and give their support."
