A drunken man got both his knees stuck in metal railings after falling over in Blackburn.
Firefighters were called to help free the trapped 47-year-old on Saturday night after a concerned passer-by found him stuck in Penny Street around 10.30pm.
Blackburn Fire Station crew manager Mark Winder said: "It appears the man had somehow fallen into the railings and managed to get both his knees trapped.
"He had been there for about half an hour when we arrived.
"We used specialised equipment to bend the railings to help free him, which took around five minutes."
