THE boys are back in town for yet more tasteless pranks and dangerous stunts that just also happen to be side-splittingly, achingly hilarious at the same time.

Johnny Knoxville and the gang, directed again by Jeff Tremaine, really just continue where they left off in 2002's Jackass The Movie with the kind of capers that would make the most mischievous wacky student proud.

The rugby club humour is probably only really going to apply largely to a male audience as the lads risk their lives for a bevy of belly laughs.

Among the high jinks are fully grown men flying across lakes in rocket-propelled shopping trolleys, man-eating sharks being tempted with human bait, the drinking of horse semen and leeches sucking eyeballs. Dirty Sanchez fans will be in their element.

One wonders when one of the gang will actually die for their art as the tomfoolery becomes more and more outrageous and perilous.

In fact Knoxville is almost killed trying to emulate Wile E Coyote after he straps himself to a giant rocket so favoured by that cartoon strip masochist as he chases the Road Runner.

Jackass Number Two is an enjoyable but somewhat guilty pleasure.
