DARWEN Explorer Scouts and Darwen Cellar Dweller Rangers Guides will play postie for Christmas when they deliver hand-cards all over the town and surrounding villages.
The Darwen Scout and Cellar Dweller Ranger Unit will become Santa's helpers until mid December.
But this year will be a more special post for the Ranger Guide Unit, as they are celebrating their 90th anniversary.
The two troupes will post cards at a reduced rate and they have produced specially designed stamps for the 22nd annual service.
Stamps are sponsored by Belgrave Carpets and cost 15p each.
They are available from until December 8 ready for their very last collection of the year.
Anyone wishing to use the service can buy the post boxes and stamps at shops across Darwen.
They include: Belgrave Carpets in Bolton Road, bacon and cooked meats shop, Rushtons in Darwen market, and off licences The Shop in Inverness Road and Edmund Street in Ratcliffe Street.
