MORE than £900 was raised for a Gannow church after it held a special fund-raising race night.
St Teresa's RC Church hailed the event, held at the 110 KSC Club, as an outstanding success.
Organiser Maureen Smith said: "Everyone enjoyed a great night out, there was standing room only when the tape went up for the first race.
"Thanks go to the race sponsors and the punters."
The money raised will help to keep the church building watertight for another year.
