A MAN had £2,000 taken from him in a daylight robbery in a busy town centre.
The 40-year-old man was set upon at around 1pm on Monday as he walked through Nelson town centre to take the cash to the bank.
He was at the junction between Broadway and Manchester Road, near the steps into the town centre, when two men stopped him and threatened him with a five-inch kitchen knife.
