THE Christmas programme at Alston Hall, Longridge, runs from December 3 to December 19.
The day programmes include a two-course festive lunch and afternoon tea. The evening events include a three-course festive dinner.
December 3 begins with A Winter Wonderland of Music which follows dinner at 6.30pm. It features an evening of Christmas music with Joyce Tindsley, mezzo soprano, and Geoff Balson on piano.
The Houghton Weavers will perform two evening concerts on December 4 and 5, and Bernard Wrigley will provide a Laugh Before Christmas on December 6 and 12.
There will be an Evening with the Grimsargh Players on December 7 and the Intrada Brass will give performances on December 10, 11 and 13.
Violinist Louise Latham will perform an afternoon concert accompanied by Kath Uren on piano on December 11.
Speaker Gerald Holden will present music hall memories on December 13 and Let's Have a Laugh' on December 14.
Internationaly-acclaimed pianist Andrew Wilde will perform music by Beethoven and Chopin on December 15.
On December 19 there will be a Christmas banquet with the Tapestry of Music. Their programme includes medieval and traditional carols and songs.
