Robert Kilroy-Silk has completed the Jungle Gym live trial in camp.

All 12 celebrities gathered around to watch as Robert competed in the trial, in order to win stars for the group which can be translated into food.

Robert was chosen by the public to display his prowess on a number of different jungle themed items of exercise equipment.

As Ant and Dec broke the news as to who would face the challenge, Robert sarcastically intoned: "They obviously love me."

He entered the arena to encouragement from his fellow celebs, and got straight to business on the Bug Bike - a minute of pedalling while being pelted with cockroaches. His efforts were rewarded with a star.

Second was the Push Ups of Pain. Robert had to do push ups into three boxes to retrieve stars, guarded by sand worms, rats and eels.

As he attempted this, team mates coerced him on. Nicola shouted: "Think of your family," while Joe opted for "think of the food."

Robert then ripped open and retrieved a star surrounded by green ants from the Bite Bag and downed a Super C Shake made of foul smelling cheese, fruit, cockroaches and crickets to complete another two parts of the task.

The final elements to the Jungle Gym were the Death Row, where Robert had to row with his head encased in a canopy of spiders and stick insects, the stench press - another task in which Robert had to bench press while worms, cockroaches, slime, and jungle fauna were poured onto his head and finally the Sore-na.

The Sore-na was a modified sauna full of snakes where Robert had to manoeuvre two stars across a metal grid while avoiding the snakes.

He completed this to earn the jungle camp full points for the task and secure a meal for the night.

Upon returning to camp all the other celebrities congratulated Robert on his win and Nicola McLean poured the contents of her water bottle over him to rid him of bugs and mess.
