DO you want to live forever? Do you want to learn how to fly high?

If fame's what you're looking for there's no better way to start than attending the performing arts summer school at Oswaldtwistle Civic Theatre.

The theatre is holding a course for three to 18-year-olds running from August 14 to 18.

Professionals from the West End will teach musical theatre, ballet, tap, jazz, singing and drama.

The idea is to bring all the theatre colleges and stage schools together to show the Fame wannabes what it would be like if they decided to train professionally to enter the tough world of showbiz.

Behind the glamour and make-up these kids work hard and fast.

For three to six-year-olds the day will run from 9.30am to midday and will include ballet, tap, singing and a Disney disco.

The seven to 18-year-olds will learn musical theatre, jazz, ballet, tap, singing and drama from 9.30am to 4pm.

At the end of the week the hard work will be put to the test in a glamourous showcase.

Clair Bruce, organiser behind the course, has worked in panto and musical theatre as well as being a dancer for the Brit Awards.

She now teaches in London and appears in shows.

The three to six-year-olds course costs £40, the seven to 18-year-olds full-day course costs £75.

Places are going quickly so anyone interested should apply early.
