FOR anyone who simply can't wait until next summer Rhyl's biggest new event, there is a very special K-Fest-ive treat just around the corner.

Not only are the first tickets on sale now for the second three day festival at the Events Arena Friday, July 31, but the next instalment of K-Fest arrives at the Late Lounge on Boxing Day.

Featuring two themed rooms, the Boxing Day Special will offer a mix of house, techno and trance alongside indie rock and old school classics.

K-Fest co-founder Kareem Ghani said: "For us, it's really exciting to bring the festival back, and the Boxing Day Special is chance to relive how good the event was over the summer.

"This is our first small event, and its something we want to do for people in Rhyl to keep the momentum going and say thank you for all the good feedback we received for the first K-Fest."

For the flagship event next summer, while the date remains the same, Mr Ghani and fellow founder John Marchbank are currently finalising next year’s running order, with the dance line up taking place on the Friday, the live bands on Saturday and acts for children on Sunday. Performers are expected to be revealed in the New year.

Pre-sale tickets for K-Fest 2020 are available from Friday, December 6 at 9am and are £17.50 plus booking fee. To book visit the K-Fest Facebook page or eventbrite.co.uk.

Admission for the Boxing Day Special is £5, £7 after 11pm, available on the door,
