Following another acclaimed run at the Edinburgh Fringe, comedy duo Harry & Chris are embarking on a nationwide tour with a stop-off in Chorley on October 24.

Harry and Chris are at the top of their field, having invented the field of comedy-rap-jazz.

They’ve sold out three Edinburgh shows, appeared on the Russell Howard Hour and were called ‘fabulously entertaining’ by Jonathan Ross.

From the ridiculous to the sublime, the world’s greatest comedy-rap-jazz duo bring award-winning wordplay, awe-inspiring musicality, eyebrow-raising bromance and unashamed joy to the biggest PR task of all time - spinning planet earth. Having conquered humans they now move on to their biggest challenge, and this one’s for the aliens.

Championing unadulterated fun in an increasingly down-trodden world, the pair delight with a night of tightly-written, fast-paced and tongue-in-cheek lyrics rapped over soulful melodies.

World Poetry Slam champion, Performance poet (and maths student) Harry Baker’s poem about prime numbers has been shared on TED.com and has been translated into 20 different languages with a combined viewership of 3 million along with his other 4 TEDx talks. Harry’s blistering wordplay ***** (Three Weeks) has seen him coined as a championed by Ed Sheeran.

Acclaimed musician Chris Read is an ‘up-and-coming talent’ (All About Jazz) on the UK jazz scene and performs regularly around the country, as well as overseas including the Lincoln Centre in New York and at many festivals including Montreux Jazz Festival, and the Cheltenham Jazz Festival.

The duo did their first Edinburgh Fringe together in 2016 and achieved loads of five-stars reviews over summer for this show.

It includes a rejected Eurovision entry, tales from a transatlantic talent show attempt, an incredibly catchy song about wombs and more.

The show is at Chorley Little Theatre at 7.30pm, with tickets £15.
