RESIDENTS of three Nelson areas are being invited to take a trip down memory lane.
A special event on March 4 at the United Reformed Church on Brunswick Street will provide an opportunity for them to share reminiscences about the Southfield, Cloverhill and Walverden areas of town.
The event has been organised by Pendle council’s neighbourhood management team.
Community development officer Lynne Mitchell said: “People should bring along an object or a poem or a photo.
“They could talk about what it means to them and how it relates to the area. We’re hoping to build up an archive so any old photographs of the area would be especially welcome.”
Pendle artist William Titley will lead the workshop and added: “We’re really looking forward to hearing everyone’s memories. Hopefully this workshop will be the first of many.”
Refreshments will be served from 5.30pm.
