FANS of theatre and variety may be able to help Looking Back this week.
For we've been asked if anyone remembers, has stories of or, more importantly, a programme, posters or photographs of a former all-girl dancing troupe called the Winstanley Babes.
Rachael Elliott recalls her nan Lily Jenkins being one of the dancers when Jimmy Clitheroe began touring with them, doing acrobatics, dancing, roller skating, and female impressions.
He also went with them to the Isle of Man, as he started his showbusiness career.
One of the other girls in the troupe was, we think, Lily Whittaker, of Great Harwood.
Sadly Lily Jenkins passed away more than a year ago and granddaughter Rachael is now seeking some memento of her for her mum. Can you help?
