ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (DENTON STREET, BURY) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2019 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-

Denton Street, Bury - between Back Hornby Street East and Back Walmersley Road West

The reason for the proposed order is facilitate manhole cover and replacement works.

The alternative route will be Walmersley Road, Eldon Street and Hornby Street and vice-versa.

The Order comes into operation on Sunday 12 May 2019 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 1 month, although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately 1 day. Dated 09 May 2019 Council Solicitor

THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (CENTRAL STREET, RAMSBOTTOM) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2019

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bury Metropolitan Borough Council propose to make the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as follows:-

NO WAITING AT ANY TIME

Central Street, Both sides from the southerly kerb line of



Ramsbottom Markland Street for a distance of 12



metres in a southerly direction

Details of the proposals are in the draft Order (including the exemptions contained within it), a plan showing the roads and area affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order may be inspected at the reception desk at 3 Knowsley Place, Bury, BL9 0EJ during usual office hours, Monday to Friday. All representations whether in support or objecting to the proposals, together with the grounds on which they are made, must be made in writing and sent to the address above or by email to

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1)

THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (NORTHERLY FOOTWAY OF BOLTON STREET, BURY) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2019 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrians and cyclists from proceeding along:-

Northerly Footway of Bolton Street, Bury - from a point 45 metres east of Lower

Woodhill Road for a distance of240 metres in an easterly direction

The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate electrical works.

The alternative route will be via the controlled crossings at Bolton StreetfCrostons

Road, the southerly footway of Bolton Street and the subway to the east of Bury

Bridge and vice versa.

The Order comes into operation on Monday 13 May 2019 and shall remain in force for a period of up to one month, although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately one week. Dated 09 May 2019 Council Solicitor

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1)

THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (SIDE ROAD CLOSURES - HIGHER AINSWORTH ROAD, RADCLIFFE) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2019 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding as follows:-

Side roads off Higher Ainsworth Road, Radcliffe - between Wilton Lane and Grindsbrook Road.

The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works.

Signed diversions shall be in place when closures are required.

The Order comes into operation on Monday 13 May 2019 and shall remain in force

for a period of up to 12 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is

approximately 4 weeks (between 13 May 2019 and 09 June 2019).
