TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2018 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-

Hollins Brow, Bury - from its junction with Croft Lane/Hollins Lane for a distance of 50 metres in a south-westerly direction
Hollins Lane, Bury - from its junction with Croft Lane/Hollins Brow for a distance of 50 metres in an easterly direction. Croft Lane, Bury - from its junction with Hollins Lane/Hollins Brow for a distance of 50 metres in a north-easterly direction. The reason for the proposed order is to enable carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out on the roundabout.
The alternative route will be via Sunnybank Road, Manchester Road, Rochdale Road, Moss Hall Road and Pilsworth Road and vice-versa.
The proposed Order will come into operation on Sunday 02 September 2018 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 1 month, although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately 1 day. THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (HEYWOOD ROAD AND SIMISTER LANE, PRESTWICH) TEMPORARY 10 MPH SPEED LIMIT ORDER 2018 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary 10 mph speed limit along:-

The Order comes into operation on Thursday 23 August 2018 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 12 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately 7 weeks. The closures will only be implemented as and when required.

The closure will come in to place to enable a fire hydrant replacement in carriageway
Alternative route will be via Ryecroft Avenue, Laurel Street, Market Street and vice versa
The proposed Order will come into operation on Sunday 28-August-2018 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 1 month, (Anticipated duration of works - 1 Day)
