THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) (ALBION STREET, BURY) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-
Albion Street, Bury - Temporary Road Closure Bolton Road, Bury - Temporary Lane Closure
The reason for the proposed order is to enable the replacement of rocking manhole frame and cover.
There is no practicable diversion route.
The proposed Order will come into operation Friday 05th April 2017 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 1 month, (between approx 9.00am and 5.00pm) anticipated duration of works is 1 day. Dated 30 March 2017 Council Solicitor
THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) (FAIRFAX ROAD, PRESTWICH) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-
Fairfax Road, Prestwich - between Highfield Road and the entrance to Fairfax Road car park.
The reason for the proposed order is to enable telecommunications works to be carried out.
For general traffic the alternative route will be via Bury New Road, Scholes Lane, Heywood Road and Heys Road and vice versa. NOTE: route not applicable for heavy goods vehicles due to low bridge.
The Order comes into operation on Wednesday 05 April 2017 and shall remain in force for a period of up to one month, although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately one day. Dated 30 March 2017 Council Solicitor
THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) (HOLYROOD ROAD, PRESTWICH) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-
Holyrood Road, Prestwich - between Bury Old Road and Milton Road
The reason for the proposed order is to enable carriageway repair works to be
undertaken.
The alternative route will be Bury Old Road, Heys Road and Milton Road and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation on Monday 03 April 2017 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 6 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately 2 weeks. Dated 30 March 2017 Council Solicitor

(SECOND AVENUE AND SIXTH AVENUE, BURY) TEMPORARY PROHD3TION OF WAITING ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be as follows:-
Temporary Prohibition of Waiting (No Waiting Monday to Friday, 8.30am -4.30pm)
Second Avenue, Bury Westerly side, from a point 30 metres north of the northerly kerbline of Rochdale Old Road to its junction with Sixth Avenue Sixth Avenue, Bury Northerly side, from the entrance to Woodgate Hill Service Reservoir to its cul-de-sac end Southerly side from a point 20 metres west of the westerly kerbline of Second Avenue to a point 20 metres east of the easterly kerbline of Second Avenue The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate HGV access to Woodgate Hill Reservoir.
The proposed Order will come into operation on Friday 07 April 2017 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 12 months. Dated 30 March 2017
