DEREK WEST Jessica would like to sincerely thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for expressions of sympathy and cards of condolence received at this very sad time. Thank you also for flowers and donations received in memory of Derek. Sincere thanks to Rev. Fleur Green for her support and kindness and for making the service in celebration of Derek's life so special. A big thank you to the Staff at the Ranken Arms, Hoddlesden, for the excellent buffet served after the funeral. Thank you to Dr. Dalton and the Team at Darwen Healthcare and to the nurses in the Treatment Room at Darwen Health Centre for their care shown to Derek during the past couple of years. Also to all doctors, nurses and other health care professionals in the several hospital departments where Derek has been treated, we have appreciated your care and support. Thanks are due to Choice Care for their dedication in caring for Derek in his home and to the Staff on the A.M.U. Ward B6 at the Royal Blackburn Hospital for the care shown to Derek and to myself during the last hours of Derek's life, and to Mary for being there for Derek during his last journey. Sincere appreciation to Greg and the Team at Edwin Ainsworth Ltd. for their considerate and sensitive handling of the funeral arrangements. Extra thanks to Melissa for the superbly designed Order of Service which was an excellent representation of the most important aspects of Derek's life. Finally, my love and gratitude to Jim for always being there for me, and to those special people who have supported and are still supporting me through this difficult time. You know who you are. Thank you.
