NORMAN THOMPSON Died Peacefully at home on Thursday 22nd July 2021, aged 94 years. The loving husband of the late Margaret, a much loved father to Anne, Andrew and the late Judith and a cherished grandpa to Phillipa, William, and great-granddaughter Amelia. A service will be held at St James Church, St James Road, Blackburn on Friday 13th August 2021 at 10:30 am, followed by a family committal. Family flowers only, or if so desired, donations may be made in memory of Norman, split between the Salvation Army and the Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team, c/o The Alty Funeral Service. Enq. A wonderful man, friend and neighbour whose knowledge about nature was second to none. We learnt a lot from you Norman and will miss you, lots of love, Lisa, Shane and gang.

R.I.P. Lovely gentleman.
Norman was the first person l spoke to from Blackburn in 1972 and now l am back home in Scotland in 2021
l am saying goodbye.
Thinking of all the Thompson family at this very sad time. Fond memories.
